Small Businesses in Belarus Gain EBRD Aid

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development pledged USD40 million to back a five-year lending program for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Belarus. Local microbusinesses may secure up to USD200,000 and larger enterprises may get as much as USD1 million of financing under the program.
