Spanish authorities arrested six men on suspicion of belonging to an international network that promotes jihad on the Internet and recruits fighters, the Interior Ministry announced Oct. 24. The Spanish civil guard, a rural police force, said it detained the six in the province of Burgos in northwestern Spain. The authorities were searching six houses and a butcher’s shop run by the men and confiscated documents and computer hard drives, the civil guard said in a statement. (NY Times)
