In a recent meeting between their top government representatives, Syria and South Africa have agreed to boost their economic and trade cooperation. The countries signed an agreement to venture in joint projects in the fields of information and technology and engage in significant exchange of expertise in the political, economic, cultural, scientific and humanitarian fields. Syria and South Africa also agreed to conduct regular consultations to discuss international issues of common interests, reports.
