Tanzanian Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda has ordered the newly launched National Assembly Administration Commission to come up with mechanisms to resolve issues regarding the issuance of benefits to members of Parliament after their terms end, The Citizen reports.

“This issue had troubled us for so long and it is unclear whether it was legal to pay the MPs while their tenure had expired; it is also clear that when the Parliament is dissolved, there is no allowance and salary,” according to the prime minister.
