Tanzania Secures AfDB Loan for Skills Development Scheme

Tanzania is set to receive $23.4 million from the African Development Bank for an alternative learning and skills development project that aims to reduce unemployment among the country’s women and youth populations.

The loan will used to finance efforts to improve women and the youth’s access to the business and technical skills required by Tanzania’s labor market, according to an AfDB news release.
