The over-applier: One telltale sign of a confused job seeker

It’s simple. If you want to be found for the job, include keywords from the job description in your CV or online profile. Whether it’s a bot or a human being scanning the CV, keywords are crucial in helping to quickly identify a potential candidate, Trish Ferrett, manager of recruiting and global human resources for Pact, told Devex’s Kate Warren in this video interview.

Even if you’re an enthusiastic recent graduate with little experience, recruiters are looking for someone who has done their research and can have an intelligent conversation about the organization and job for which they’re applying.
