A big move took places in Seattle in June 2011. That month, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation moved its operations to its new campus at 500 Fifth Avenue North from its original headquarters at Eastlake Avenue.

The new campus, similar to the foundation’s old abode, is located within minutes of two nonprofits that share the charity’s pursuit to improve global health. PATH is less than a mile southwest, while Health Alliance International lies southeast of the Gates Foundation’s new complex.
