The U.S. hopes to schedule a joint review on its bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan in six months’ time, said Robert Blake, assistant secretary at the State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs. The U.S. and Turkmenistan kicked off their annual bilateral consultations June 14, where the two nations were set to tackle military cooperation, counter-narcotics, commercial partnerships and human rights.
