UK Allots USD8 Billion Education Aid for Developing World

The U.K will release USD8 billion in the next seven years to improve education sectors in poor nations. Britain pledged an additional USD4.5 billion to help developing countries meet the Millennium Development Goal on attaining universal primary education by 2015, said Philip Parham, British high commissioner to Tanzania, one of the countries that will benefit from the funding.
