UK Helps Improve Governance in Indian State

The U.K. Department for International Development will support a five-year governance improvement program in India’s Bihar state. The agency will provide more than USD26 million for the said initiative, which seeks to improve governance and administration in the state through better transparency, e-governance, delivery of government services and accounting.
