UK Helps Improve Pakistani Tax Body

The Pakistani agency in charge of collecting tax and other government revenues is expected to receive a USD16 million grant from the U.K. Department for International Development.

The grant will support plans by the Federal Board of Revenue to improve its information technology and resource department. Through the grant, the agency will send some of its employees to attend overseas training in key international taxation department, The News reports.
