UK Set to Be Myanmar's Top Donor

The United Kingdom is set to become Myanmar’s top donor after it pledged to spend $75 million annually for development projects in the Asian country.

The aid, which is part of new policies announced by the U.K. government following the release of the results of its bilateral and multilateral aid reviews, will be spent primarily on the health and education sectors and used to support livelihood activities, the Democratic Voice of Burma says.
