UK Supports Nepal Peace Process

The U.K. Department for International Development will contribute 5 million pounds (USD8 million) to the Nepal Peace Trust Fund, which supports the peace-building process in the country, Nepal News reports. The money will be spent to support the reintegration of Maoist combatants, establishment of two transitional justice commissions, and preparations for the country’s election.
