Britain’s aid agency has pledged 50 million pounds (USD78.3 million) to support Pakistan’s milk industry through enhancing dairy processing systems and close the supply-demand gap, the Associated Press of Pakistan reports. The U.K. Department for International Development announced its support to the Punjab Economic Opportunities Program as Pakistani and British dairy and livestock stakeholders met in Cambridge to share best practices and discuss business opportunities. Pakistan is the world’s third largest milk producer.
