UN Brings Sci-Tech Advances to Small Farmers Worldwide

The European Commission will release nearly USD92 million, through the International Fund for Agricultural Development, to help some 450 million small farmers worldwide gain access to technological services and agricultural research. The funding will back the study of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, which seeks to develop rural agriculture, sustainable management of resources and ecosystems, and scientific, technological and institutional innovations and policies.
