UN Emergency Fund Earmarks Aid for Somali Refugees in Kenya

Some 230,000 Somalis fleeing to Kenya will benefit from a USD5 million allocation from the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund, the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs

. The additional funding, to be administered by the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and two other U.N. agencies, will be used to address the nutritional needs of Somalis as well as support Sudanese refugees in the same Kenyan camps.
