UN Fears Violent Chaos in Haiti

The United Nations warns about a possible outbreak of chaos in Haiti as earthquake victims grow frustrated over the slow pace of aid delivery, the U.K. Press Association reports. According to the U.N.’s Haiti mission, the security is still stable but potentially volatile. There have been reports of people stealing food from each other and of mobs attacking food carrying convyos, according to UKPA. Haitian police have increased their patrols and begun to help U.N. peacekeepers guard aid distribution.
