UN Launches New Policy for Post-Conflict Countries

    The United Nations has launched a

    that aims to promote jobs and income-generation activities in countries emerging from conflict. The policy will be initially tested in five post-conflict countries: Burundi, Cote d'Ivore, Sierra Leon, Nepal and Timor-Leste. The policy program will be lead by the U.N. Development Program and the International Labor Organization.
