UNIDO Helps India Dispose of Medical Waste

    The United Nations Industrial Development Organization will work with India on a USD40 million project to properly dispose of hazardous waste generated by the country’s hospitals and other health care facilities. The project will be implemented in the Indian states of Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa and Punjab by the M.S. Ramaiah Medica College, which is based in Bangalore.
