Uruguay’s Foreign Minister Luis Almagro recently traveled to Finland to meet with his Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb to discuss bilateral relations, regional development in Latin America and shared issues between the region and the European Union. At a press conference after their meeting, Almagro referred to the good relations between the two countries and stressed the importance of Finnish companies to Uruguay’s economy.
