US Commits Aid to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Georgia

U.S. President George W. Bush authorized the release of USD8.3 million in emergency assistance to Afghanistan, Georgia and Pakistan, the White House said. The aid will serve “the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs” in the three nations, said Bush in a memorandum.
