US Pledges Support for New Tunisian Government

The U.S. government will help to build political parties in Tunisia to help underscore the role of human rights and governance in the country’s modernization, said Denis McDonough, U.S. deputy national security adviser, in a round-table discussion about the foreign policy dimension of U.S. President Barack Obama’s second State of the Union address.
