US Releases Fresh Funding for Storm-Ravaged Haiti

The U.S. Agency for International Development will provide another USD2.1 million for Haiti following the devastation caused by hurricane Gustav and tropical storm Hanna. USAID decided to use the USD5 million budget towards less crucial programs under a USD45 million emergency food initiative for post-disaster funding and relief in Haiti.
