US to Triple Aid to Pakistan

    U.S. President Barack Obama said he supports tripling the country’s nonmilitary aid to Pakistan to USD1.5 billion annually for five years,

    reported. The sum will be used to build schools, hospitals and roads and strengthen democracy in the Asian nation. “We will ask our friends and allies to do their part – including at the donors conference in Tokyo next month,” Obama added.
