USAID Boosts Sri Lankan Agriculture Sector

The United States Agency for International Development has agreed to provide technical assistance to dairy farmers in 24 villages in Sri Lanka's Batticalao district, according to

. The technical assistance is linked to a U.S.-funded project worth 429 million rupees (USD9.2 million), which was approved in July 2009.
