USAID: Competition Drives Sri Lankan Dairy Sector

    Strong competition between dairy processing companies in Sri Lanka is helping boost development and generate more investment opportunities in the country’s dairy sector, Sri Lanka News reports. The newspaper quoted a U.S. Agency for International Development study that seeks to find ways to help small dairy farmers in Sri Lanka improve their businesses.

    The study identifies challenges faced by dairy farmers as well as the best areas that can be developed to further boost the farmers’ competitiveness.
