USAID Extends Humanitarian Assistance to Ethiopia

The U.S. Agency for International Development has committed

to help more than 6.2 million people affected by severe droughts in Ethiopia. Of the sum, USD50 million will be given to the U.N. World Food Program while USD25 million will be channeled through nonprofits that include Catholic Relief Services, World Vision and Care.
