USAID Helps Protect South Asian Women From Violence

CARE obtained more than USD2.8 million from the U.S. Agency for International Development to help combat child marriage and violence against women in two South Asian nations. Of the sum, USD1.5 million will back CARE Nepal’s educational, behavioral change and law enforcement campaigns against child marriage and gender-based violence. The rest will support a similar program to be administered by CARE Bangladesh.
