USAID studies Yemen governmental reforms

The U.S. Agency for International Development dispatched a team to scrutinize Yemen’s efforts in improving governmental performance. Planning and international cooperation minister Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi thanked the agency for promoting closer ties between the two countries and informed USAID of numerous government initiatives seeking to enhance institutional reforms and fiscal management. The bilateral donor is expected to review the finance, education, agricultural, and health ministries as well as give recommendations on areas for improvement.
