USAID Swears In Top Officials in Kyrgyzstan, Timor-Leste

    The U.S. Agency for International Development has formalized the appointments of its top officials in Kyrgyzstan and Timor-Leste.

    Carey Gordon, the very first USAID representative in Kyrgyzstan, was sworn in on May 18, as was Frederic Scott, USAID’s new mission director to Timor-Leste.

    Nisha Desai Biswal, assistant administrator for USAID’s Asia bureau, administered the oath-taking ceremony, according to a USAID mission press releases.
