Vietnam Power Scheme Gains EIB Aid

The European Investment Bank will lend EUR100 million (USD140 million) to back clean energy projects in Vietnam,

reported. The funding, which will be administered by four state-run banks, includes  EUR70 million for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The rest of the sum will be used to support technology transfer efforts.
