Vietnam Secures Aid to Boost Climate Change Response Capacity

Vietnam is set to receive a USD2.5 million technical assistance grant from the Nordic Development Fund as support for the development and implementation of its climate change plan.

The grant, to be administered by the Asian Development Bank, will be used to help key Vietnamese cities and government departments plan and implement climate change response measures. It will also support the country’s National Target Program which seeks to increase the capacity of select cities, provinces and ministries to effectively respond to the effects of climate change.
