Who's who in #globaldev: June 2018 appointments

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has appointed four new individuals to join the U.N. Development Programme’s senior leadership team.

Ahunna Eziakonwa of Nigeria, who most recently served as U.N. resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative in Ethiopia, will lead the regional bureau for Africa. Ulrika Modeér, Sweden’s state secretary for international development cooperation and climate, will be the new director of UNDP’s Bureau for External Relations and Advocacy.
