World Bank, ADB Fund Infrastructure Projects in Vietnamese Province

The World Bank and the Asian Development Bank have agreed to finance approximately USD230 million worth of infrastructure development projects in the Vietnamese province of Nghe An, Vietnam Business News reports.

The World Bank will finance an urban development project in the city of Vinh,  waste treatment and water drainage projects in the town of Thai Hoa and a separate rural energy project, the news agency says. Meanwile, ADB will support the upgrading of a water facility in Thai Hoa. It will also fund a water system treatment project in the town of Cua Loa and a water supply project in Vinh.
