World Bank backs repairs for Tanzania's capital

The World Bank is offering Tanzania USD98 million to assist in the infrastructure rehabilitation program in Dar es Salaam’s, the country’s capital. The city’s representative, Bakari Kingobi, expressed his gratitude at the unveiling of the Local Government Support Project Component 2 mid-term review. The official then requested for additional funding as other roads in the city and surrounding suburbs remain decrepit.
