World Bank Backs Sao Tome and Principe Climate Adaptation Program

The World Bank has approved a $4.1 million grant for the implementation of a climate adaptation project in Sao Tome and Principe, to be drawn from the Global Environment Facility managed by the bank.

Sao Tome and Principe’s Adaptation to Climate Change Project aims to increase the capacity of coastal communities across the country to adapt to the effects of climate change.
