World Bank Bolsters Solomons' Rural Development Initiative

The World Bank is providing an additional USD3 million for the Solomon Islands’ program that aims to improve local infrastructure, increase the capacity of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, and support rural business development.  

The supplementary World Bank funding will be used to provide rural infrastructure and services and enhance agricultural services at the provincial level.

The Ministry of Development Planning and Aid Coordination is managing the program.
