World Bank Boosts Azerbaijan's Capital Markets

The World Bank is lending $12 million to help boost Azerbaijan’s use of capital market instruments.

The project seeks to develop a modern capital markets regulatory regime and clearing and settlement infrastructure. It also aims to increase the awareness of enterprises and potential investors to different capital markets instruments and boost the capacity of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Securities.
