World Bank Frees Funds for Montenegro

Montenegro may access some EUR17.5 million (USD22.6 million) of World Bank financing to back a land administration and management project and an energy efficiency initiative in the country. Of the sum, EUR11 million will be used to enhance the nation’s property registration system, spatial planning, and permitting processes. The rest will be allocated for the improvement of energy efficiency in public buildings, such as schools and hospitals.
