World Bank, GEF Protect Senegal's Coastal Fisheries

The World Bank and the Global Environment Facility will provide a combined USD9.5 million to encourage small-scale fishers to sustainably manage fish stocks in the central coastal fisheries of Senegal. The project will also allow communities to co-manage the coastal fisheries, restore fisheries ecosystems, and strengthen fisheries management in the country.
