The World Bank has approved a USD1.5 billion loan to help Mexico develop public policies that will support its

. The loan will be used to develop a comprehensive policy framework to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across different sectors, implement and monitor a framework to reduce emissions in the energy and urban transport sectors, and establish financing schemes to support the second goal.
