The World Bank is supporting a USD23 million project that seeks to improve the quality of management, teaching and research at Cambodia’s higher education institutions. The project will also provide scholarships to disadvantaged but deserving students.
The World Bank and Cambodia signed Sept. 7 an agreement to collaborate on the project. Under the agreement, the bank’s International Development Association will provide an interest-free loan and a grant, worth USD11.5 million each, to finance the five-year project.
