World Bank Helps Strengthen Chilean Social Protection System

The World Bank has approved a technical assistance loan worth USD3 million for the improvement of the

of Chile. The loan will finance two poverty reduction projects: the Chile Solidario for extremely poor families in the country and the Chile Crece Contigo for young children. These two projects both aim to deliver quality social protection to their target audience with the overall goal of reducing Chile's national poverty rate.
