World Bank, Italy Partner for Stronger Disaster Risk Management in Developing World

The World Bank and the civil protection department of Italy have signed a

to collaborate in advancing disaster risk reduction, reconstruction and sustainable recovery in disaster-prone developing countries. The agreement will push for closer coordination of Italian aid and World Bank-backed disaster risk reduction and recovery programs in the Mediterranean and Western Balkan countries.
