World Bank loan goes to Turkish Railways project

Turkish Railways will use a USD6.6 million dollar loan by the World Bank to enlarge the Bogazkopru-Yenice and Mersin-Toprakkale stations, as well as to construct the signalization systems for them. According to Turkish Railways deputy general director Ismet Duman, the project is hoped to reach completion after 36 months. The venture will expand nine stations within the Bogazkopru-Yenice track, and another five in the Mersin-Toprakkale line.
