World Bank OKs $150M for Ukraine's financial sector

The World Bank is lending $150 million to shore up Ukraine’s financial markets. Under the agreement, Ukrainian banks, namely, PrivatBank, Nadra Bank and Kreditprombank will extend loans to local self-management organizations and small and mid-sized enterprises in the rural regions. The loan will also support the development of the Federal Financial Markets Regulation Commission and the Federal Mortgage Agency. (Source: World Bank to provide $150 mln loan to Ukraine/Interfax)
