World Bank to Support Yemen Social Development

World Bank representatives will sit down with Yemeni Undersecretary for Planning and International Cooperation Abdullah al-Shater in Cairo, Egypt, this week to discuss the bank’s support for a USD60 million social security program, the Yemen News Agency said. The program aims to improve the country’s education, health care, water supply and entrepreneurship systems.
