Yemen Back on Donors' Agenda in Saudi Meeting

International donors will meet Feb. 22-23 in Saudi Arabia to discuss how they can assist Yemen in implementing social and economic reforms, Middle East World News reports. The meeting is a follow-up to the Jan. 27 donors’ meeting held in London, where participants agreed to let Yemen deal with its social, economic and security issues with minimal international interference.

The Friends of Yemen, which will help the country address economic and governance issues, was launched during the London meeting. The first Friends of Yemen meeting is scheduled in late March.
