Yemen in Talks With US on Future Projects

    The U.S. and Yemen discussed future areas of possible cooperation specifically governance, economy, education, agriculture, water and energy initiatives. Yemeni Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs Abdul Karim al-Arhabi presented the government’s plans on boosting education and health services to U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator Henrietta Fore in Washington. He also met with Millennium Challenge Corporation Vice President for International Policy Sherri Kraham to discuss Yemen’s national reform agenda particularly in fighting corruption.
