Yemen Seeks Stronger Collaboration With UN

Yemen is willing to increase its cooperation with United Nations agencies, Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi said. The U.N. is currently conducting a semiannual review of its assistance to Yemen from 2007 to 2011, according to the Yemen News Agency. The review stressed that Yemen achieved gains in fostering good governance and curbing discrimination against women through a strengthened partnership between the government and civil society organizations.
